About Us
Operators who've done the work
We started Avid because we've been on the other side—running agencies, navigating transitions, seeing what works and what doesn't.

Our Story
We built this for people like us
Before Avid, we ran agencies. We dealt with staffing, reimbursement, compliance, all of it. We also watched colleagues try to exit and get burned by buyers who didn't understand the business—or didn't care to.
We started Avid because we thought there was a better way. Fair valuations. Employee ownership. Thoughtful operations. A buyer that actually gets what home health is about.
Why This Matters
The people doing the work deserve better
Home health isn't glamorous. It's showing up at someone's home, day after day, helping them with the things they can't do alone. It requires patience, skill, and genuine care.
The people who do that work deserve to be treated well—to have stability, ownership, and a future. That's what we're trying to build.
